For the past decade, I’ve felt incredibly fortunate to make music for a living, and it still feels like a privilege every time an artist trusts me with something they’ve created. I never take that trust lightly, and when I work on a project, I give it my full care, attention and commitment.

Over the years, I’ve made it my mission to become confident across every stage of the process, from songwriting and recording to production and mixing. For me, those stages are all closely connected. Each one plays an important part in making sure the finished song still feels true to the idea that first inspired it.

My studio in Notting Hill, London, is a space where artists can feel comfortable, experiment freely and focus fully on their music. I get a great deal of satisfaction from working with people there and helping their ideas develop into finished records. My work has included artists such as KT Tunstall and David Gray in pop, Skepta and Unknown T in hip-hop, and Taves and Obongjayar in R&B.

As a lifelong music fan, I’ve never wanted to confine myself to a single genre. The sounds and styles may change, but the foundations of great music are often the same: a strong idea, an honest performance and a recording that makes you feel something.
